We ve owned a rocketbox 11 for about 15 years first mounted on a 1999 honda odyssey with yakima crossbars. The black yakima rocketbox 15s is great for shorter roofs sedans or larger vehicle owners who have stuff that they do not want to carry inside the car. Hardware doesn t cut down on internal space. Not excessive wind noise.

Installed the yakima rocket box 15s on a 2011 mini clubman with mini roof rack. The only reason i gave it 4 stars instead if 5 is this box seemed a bit flimsy. They have three versions of roof racks to suit every need you may have. Very easy to adjust.

So far very happy with my purchase. Size wise and shape wise the rocketbox was one of the cargo boxes i was looking at along with the thule counterpart. I liked the side opening the volume of storage and the way it fit on my cuv. Then i went and looked at the yakima rocketbox 11 which had the exact same.

Moved all the way forward. Easy to open and close locks. Yakima roof racks have everything you need from snowboard to kayak. They design roof racks for luggage and equipment but not boxes or bags.

Exactly what i wanted. Took on a week vacation with a family of 4. Most yakima roof racks are modestly priced. In the end i went with the one that to me looked the least dorky and still gave me the storage capacity i thought i d need.

Somehow the unique yakima rocketbox 15s manages to be both compact and spacious all at once.
